The former Assistant of the Maldives National Football Team, Ali Nasheed has become the Chairman of the committee recently assembled by the Football Association of Maldives (FAM) to manage the national team.
At the Executive Committee meeting held Sunday evening, five members were appointed for the new committee. Other members on the committee include National Team Head Coach, Darren Stewart, the National Team Physician Dr. Ibrahim Rafiu, the Former Manager of the National Team Mohamed Hanim as well as the female National Team coach Naoko Kawamoto.
The FAM Technical Director will also be taking part in the committee.
In an interview he previously gave to 'Avas', FAM President Bassam Adhil Jaleel had said that the committee will be in charge of the national team plans, training, arrangements as well as the management of different age groups.
Bassam had further stated that the committee will also oversee the appointment of technical officials and coaches of the age groups.
