A boat travelling with four people has capsized off the coast of Raa Atoll Ufulandhoo on Monday morning. No one was reportedly hurt in the incident.
Police said the accident had been reported just past 8:00AM on Monday. All four on board the capsized boat had been picked up safely by a nearby boat, and are in good health, police said.
The boat had been carrying shipments of water when it ran into strong waves which led to the vessel to capsize, according to the police.
