TC Sports Club has ensured a place in the Semi-Finals of the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup after defeating five time Kyrgyz league champions, FC Alga Bishkek in a 2-1 thriller on Monday night.
TC Sports Club secured a come from behind win after FC Alga had scored the opening goal.
The goal was scored in the 36th minute of the match, with TC equalizing shortly before the end of the first half with a goal from Ibrahim Waheed Hassan. The match winning goal was scored by Cornelius Stewart in the second half.
TC is so far the only team in the tournament to have ensured a spot in the semis.
The match between South Korea's FC Pocheon and Bangladeshi league champions Abahani ended in a goalless draw. The South Korean side could have secured a place in the semis, had they won the match.
TC moves up to the top of the group table with Monday's victory securing six points, with FC Pocheon next two points behind.
