Maldives player to appear in Wales Association Cup Semis

Llangefni Town, current club team of Maldivian National Team star Mohamed Fazeel (Oppo), is set to play against Chirk AAA FC in the semifinals of the Wales Football Association Trophy, better known as the FAW Trophy.

The FAW Trophy is one of Wales's longest running competitions.

Oppo is set to start from the bench in the match against Chirk FC, however he confirmed his placement as one of the three substitutes for the match.

Oppo has presented an exceptional display in his last match for Llangefni, assisting one in the 2-1 victory over Greenfield in last week's Division 1 match of the Welsh Alliance.

Oppo has an exceptional history of turning the tide in semifinal displays, sending the Maldivian National Team to the finals after scoring in both the 2003 and 2008 semifinal ties of the SAFF Championship.

Chirk FC play in the Premier Division of the Welsh National League, and have won the FAW Trophy on three past occasions.
