Fourteen people were injured after a speedboat collided with an anchored boat late Tuesday.
Privately run ADK hospital said two remain in critical condition and are on ventilator.
The speedboat en-route to Male from Summer Island Resort had collided with an anchored boat near Reethi Rah Resort. The anchored vessel reportedly had no navigation lights on at the time which had caused the accident.
Details of the passengers have not been disclosed but foreigners were reportedly among the injured.
The two critical passengers had suffered severe internal injuries and head trauma. Both had undergone emergency surgery late Tuesday.
