ACC remarks cases of undue advantage increased

Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has confirmed the most handled cases during the 9 months passed on 2017 were related to granting undue advantages to favored entities, according to their statistics.

The commission had stated that last year's situation had been the same with ACC handling cases of undue advantage the most.

ACC has investigated a total of 158 cases related corporate or institutes exacting in the malpractice of granting undue advantages during the third quarter of 2017 while last year's same period had accounted for 83 cases.

Second most handled cases during the third quarter of 2017 was breach of law, which accounted for a total of 50 cases investigated in this period.

Nine cases dealt with the misconduct of averting the benefit to state with 3 cases of property negligence. Third quarter had also comprised of the commission investigating 3 cases of bribery.

Anti Corruption Commission had concluded a total of 265 during the third quarter of 2017 with a total of 815 cases completed during the 9 months passed.
