Paradise Island Resort has been recognized and awarded as the best resort to host meetings and conferences.
The resort was awarded at the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2017, held at Addu City's Equator Village.
While the resort had landed the prestigious award on Saturday night, Paradise Island had recently inaugurated a new convention center providing the service of hosting larger events and functions for interested parties.
Meanwhile Villa's homegrown spa brand "Araamu Spa" had once again been awarded for its quality and standard. Competing against several international spa products and franchises at the SATA, "Araamu Spa" landed Leading Wellness and Spa award.
The brand is operated at Royal Island Resort, Paradise Island Resort, Sun Island Resort and Fun Island Resort.
"Araamu Spa" brand had landed the Leading Spa brand on previous year's SATA event.
SATA was participated by more than 400 nominating resorts, hotels and hospitality brands all across the world while Maldives nabbed 18 different awards at the event.
Resorts and hospitality outlets of neighboring India and Bhutan were awarded at the event as well.
