Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced of their plans for the construction of two residential towers at Hulhumale' City.
The company made its announcement on Tuesday, interested in seeking eligible contractors that would oversee the development of two elevation-unspecified mixed residential towers at the satellite town on a plot of 10,000 square feet.
Much like the major sea transport operator company, Island Aviation that operates the national flight Maldivian had announced its plans of constructing three 15-story mixed residential towers in the same vicinity, on Tuesday.
Island Aviation is set to construct its towers at a land plot of 15,000 square feet.
The largest housing scheme project ever kick-started in Maldives, incumbent government confirms the collaboration of 22 corporations including 2 foreign firms who would develop and construct a total of 62 residential towers.
According to president Abdulla Yameen, the pioneer behind the mega housing project, the completion of all properties would allow as many as 100,000 residents to take up abode in the towers.
Meanwhile China's State Construction Engineering Corporation (SCEC) has been assigned with the construction of sixteen 25-story towers for a project cost of MVR 6.6 billion.
