Tuesday night panel discussion with opposition leaders' messages

A special panel discussion has been scheduled for Tuesday night with messages from all four leaders of the opposition parties.

Hosted at Maafannu Kunoozu - prime opposition camp - the discussion will proceed ahead with messages from Adaalath Party leader Sheikh Imran Abdulla, Jumhoory Party leader Qasim Ibrahim, former president and MDP head Mohamed Nasheed as well as former president and PPM leader Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.

Tuesday night's panel discussion is the first opposition initiated activity since former Home Minister Umar Naseer pledged his allegiance to Jumhoory Party.

The panel discussion will be participated by Yumna Maumoon, MDP's Chairperson Hassan Latheef, deputy of JP Dr. Hussain Rasheed and Sidhatha Shareef.

The joint party panel discussion comes amid when opposition parties have not come to a coinciding conclusion about electing one interim candidate for the 2018 presidency, which was suggested by former president Mohamed Nasheed.

Meanwhile rumors sparked the opposition may be sliding downwards with former Home Minister Naseer's public stance against MDP's leadership and their collaboration in the united opposition alliance.
