The local Fatwah Committee has announced several activities and fatwahs planned for 2018.
Speaking to media during a press conference held on Tuesday, vice president of the committee Ibrahim Amad confirmed that a special conference including several fatwah committees from the region have been planned to hold discussions to detail various activities and works carried out to improve and increase religious awareness camps and fatwah release on important issues.
The local fatwah committee is headed by former chief justice Mohamed Rasheed Ibrahim.
The committee has informed of nation-wide activities planned to spread religious information and fatwah through communication mediums such as television and radio, while they will attempt to provide clear comprehensiveness in fatwahs they release.
Amad had also the committee is planning to release their fatwahs published into a book.
