Two coordinators employed under Youth Ministry has been terminated on Sunday. The axed coordinators are Hussain Ameen, the Ministry's media coordinator and Mohamed Mimrah who filled the role of Youth Minister's secretary.
Both coordinators had not received prior notification about their termination and was thus abrupt. So far the Ministry has not come forth with an explanation over their sacking.
Separate letters were delivered to both coordinators bearing signature of President Office State Minister Mohamed Mujuthaz. Though the Youth Ministry coordinators received their letters of termination, it had not specified the reason behind it.
However the letters had cited that termination without disclosing reason was levied through the power granted under Article number 115 Maldives Constitution to head of the state.
Both Ameen and Mimrah filled the role of coordinators at the Ministry during the tenure of two former Youth Ministers; Mohamed Maleeh Jamaal and Ahmed Zuhoor.
