Finance Ministry of Maldives announced on Monday seeking interested parties to procure equipment and vehicles for three domestic airports.
The procurement of vehicles and equipment are assigned for the in-development airports of H.Dh. Kulhudhuffushi, G.Dh. Maavarulu and Sh. Funadhoo - for operations.
Listed items that needs to be procured for these sites include fire fighting vehicles and equipment, operational, navigational and meteorological equipment that are mandatory in airport functioning.
The ministry has requested interested parties to forward their bids before March 14. Bid partake fee is set at MVR 1,500 which interested parties should incur prior to submitting documents.
The contracts are set with different bid security fee which should be settled within 148 days of bid-opening while a performance security should be settled that is 5% of the total project's value. Contractors will receive 15% of the total project's value as advance payment after submitting guarantee on the advance.
The pre bid meetings are set for March 5, with bid books available from the Ministry's counter.
