A fire caused heavy damage to a house in the capital Male on Sunday, though no one was reportedly hurt in the incident.
Fire department said the fire broke-out in a room of the house in Galolhu ward just after 7pm. Firefighters took about half an hour to put out the fire which had severely damaged the room.
The cause of the fire however, remains unclear. This is the first fire incident reported this Ramadan.
