Collision of two motorcycles have left both riders injured severely with one unconscious since last reported in satellite town of Hulhumale' on Tuesday afternoon.
The bikes rammed into each other around 16:30hrs on Tuesday afternoon leaving both men aged 22 and 32 injured with the latter receiving significantly severe injuries which left him in urgent need of medical treatment.
The 32 year old accident victim was rushed to state-of-the-art Tree Top Hospital for medical emergency and as of last noted update, had not gained consciousness.
The younger accident victim received medical treatment from Hulhumale' Hospital initially but was expected to reach the capital - Male' City - for further medical inspection. According to sources, the older road accident victim was transported to Hulhumale' Hospital initially as well but the severity of his injuries warranted a transfer to the technologically advanced Tree Top.
