Opposition commences door-to-door campaign

Prominent members of the Maldives United Opposition (MUO) has commenced a door-to-door campaign to rally support for their cause.

The opposition claims their aim of the campaign to facilitate the proletarians in re-registering for the upcoming presidential elections as well as to address their concerns regarding the country's political spectrum.

While officially commencing the door-to-door activity, opposition coalition appointed running-mate for 2018 presidential polls, Faisal Naseem noted the importance of re-registration for the elections.

He also expressed gratitude towards the opposition members and politicians assisting in the cause.

The opposition backed running-mate stressed on the importance of the public casting their vote for desired outcome; noting that voting was the public's right to decide who they wishes to appoint as their leader.

Faisal Naseem also asserted that voting should be proceeded with accordance to the wishes of the general populace.
