Maldives president Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has officially initiated the 'Rasfannu Mixed Use Development Site' on Sunday evening.
Under the project four towering structures between 25 to 28 storeys will be enacted in Maldives capital Male' City. In addition to this a total of 228 hotel rooms will be developed as well.
The contractor Corel Boulevard presented a scaled down model of the project to president Abdulla Yameen during Sunday's event.
Apart from president Abdulla Yameen the ceremony was attended by dignitaries and cabinet members of the government, Speaker of parliament and several lawmakers.
