Opposition coalition backed presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has flown back to homeland after concluding his recent trip to United Kingdom.
The MDP backed presidential candidate for the upcoming election in 2018 flew to UK to attend to the graduation ceremony of one of his children. However, he had also met with local politicians during his short trip and unofficial trip to UK.
During his stay, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih met with the new Jumhooree Party president Ali Waheed.
While the opposition presidential candidate flew back home on Monday morning, the country's electoral watchdog will announce window to contest in presidential poll later on the same day.
