Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) commences their attempt to right the capsized supply vessel at Baa atoll Hithaadhoo lagoon.
MNDF confirms the vessel was en route Male' City from Raa atoll Muravandhoo when it capsized.
Authorities also confirm four crew members were aboard the vessel at the time of the incident, which included three expats and one local.
No one was injured in the incident according to MNDF and confirmed they received report of the vessel in distress around late hours of Monday night.
MNDF's Coastguard unit with divers have been dispatched to the location to assist the vessel.
