An expatriate employed in the labor force at an under-development resort in Laamu atoll has died after falling into a concrete brick-maker machine on Thursday.
Authorities confirm the expatriate aged 37 years fell into the brick maker machine on Thursday on-site of the resort venue. The incident was reported to Maldives Police around 08:30hrs on Thursday morning.
The deceased expatriate's body is currently being transferred to Gan of the same atoll. Police confirmed they have commenced investigation into the incident.
