President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Friday inaugurated the TfG marathon in a ceremony held in Gan island of Laamu atoll.
The run was organized by Total Fitness Group (TfG).
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed participated in the TfG five kilometer run to commemorate the event. Along with the President and First Lady, a huge number of runners participated in the marathon.
After the inauguration ceremony, President Solih toured the Zone Stadium and the Youth Centre of the island.
The President will be meeting with some island councils of other islands in the atoll during his visit.
