A dead body has been discovered floating in lagoon of capital Male'.
The police confirmed that the body was discovered adrift around 6 am on Wednesday morning, just off the coast from the local market area.
It has been discerned that the body belongs to an Indian national, and no physical injuries were visible on the body, revealed the police.
The police are investigating the case further, while no additional information is available at the moment.
