A dinghy vessel with two onboard capsizes and leaves one missing.
The incident occurred on Friday night around 9.30pm. The dinghy was traveling from Kadhdhoo island of Laamu atoll to Maamendhoo island of the same atoll.
A 19 year old woman from Maamedhoo island is missing in the incident. The second person on the vessel swam to nearby Six Sense Laamu Resort and sought help, revealed the police spokesperson.
Rescue teams have now been deployed to the area to locate the woman.
