One person is dead and another hospitalized following an accident in Addu City on Tuesday.
According to Hithadhoo Regional Hospital, an injured man and a woman who were involved in a road accident were brought to the hospital around 2.30pm. The man has been pronounced dead while the woman did not sustain serious injuries.
According to reports, the accident took place on Addu Link Road. The accident occurred when a 'Medi City' vehicle collided with two motorcycles. The victim who passed away, who was riding on one of the motorcycles, was a staff of WAMCO Office in Addu City.
