The latest aircraft of Emirates, Boeing 300-777 ER will begin operating to Maldives from June 1, 2019.
The international airline revealed that the deployment of the new ‘Game Changer’ aircraft which provides a unique first Class experience, will make Maldives the first destination in the South Asian Region to which the new aircraft operates to on a regular basis.
Travelers to and from the Maldives can experience the new Emirates Boeing 777 on flight EK658 departing Dubai daily at 04:20 and arriving in Male at 09:30. The return flight EK659 will leave Male at 11:00, arriving in Dubai at 14:00.
"The Maldives has become an increasingly popular destination for Emirates, attracting premium travelers, honeymooners and families from around the world. Introducing the new Boeing 777 with the state-of-the-art First Class suites on this route reaffirms our longstanding commitment to Male," said Ahmed Khoory, Emirates’ Senior Vice President, West Asia and Indian Ocean.
The airline stated that the new aircraft has been re-designed in such a way that all classes from First to Business and Economy are well equipped to provide a comfortable traveling experience for its customers. The upgrades on the aircraft are a multi-million dollar investment, revealed the airline. The upper class provides private suites for each individual traveler while the interior of seats on the Business Class have been re-designed and upgraded.
While the aircraft will be deployed to Maldives in June, the aircraft currently operates to Geneva, Brussels, Tokyo, London and Riyad. In addition to Maldives, the aircraft will begin operating to Kuwait from June 1, Emirates has announced.
