A Ukrainian woman has been killed in a fatal pedestrian collision in reclaimed suburbs, Hulhumale’.
The accident occurred around 6.37am on Fithuroanu Magu of Hulhumale’ when an MTCC bus ran over the 31-year old woman after the driver fell asleep at the wheel.
The driver of the bus is a licensed Maldivian. He is now under police custody.
