An accident occurred in Hulhumale’ city on Saturday morning when a car driving at a high speed lost control and crashed into foliage.
The police reported that the accident occurred around 7:02 am. At the time of the accident, only the driver was in the car, and was not carrying any passengers. The driver did not sustain any injuries in the accident, although the front buffer of the car was unhinged.
Recently, the number of accidents occurring in the reclaimed suburbs has been increasing. On the first day of Ramadan, a Ukrainian tourist was killed when a bus ran over her after the driver fell asleep at the wheel. An accident involving an MTCC bus also occurred in Thursday in Hulhumale City.
