A tourist has been seriously injured after being hit with the propeller of a diving 'dhoni' at the Manta diving point near Paradise Island Resort.
Police revealed that they received reports of a German tourist being injured in the accident around 10:45 am on Saturday morning. The tourist, who went to the diving point with the Emboodhoo Finolhu Diving School, was hit in the leg by diving boat of Paradise Island Resort.
The man has now been taken to Tree Top Hospital in Hulhumale' for treatment, the police revealed.
