Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa has been opened in Raa atoll.
Boasting 120 villas, the high-end resort developed in Fasmendhoo island has 60 beach villas and an equivalent number of water villas.
With attractive contemporary tropical designs, the island offers different standards of villas, including Jacuzzi villas, Pool villas, Superior villas and Presidential villas.
The island has four restaurants, featuring the international cuisine of the Aqua Restaurant, the Beach Club Grill and its Mediterranean cuisine and two other outlets offering respectively Latin American and Asian cuisine.
The gym and sports center on the island includes a state-of-the-art Technogym gym, tennis courts, soccer field, paddle courts, and professional assistance for personalized training programs.
Over 140 resorts are currently in operation in the Maldives while 140 additional tourism properties are being developed. 12 new resorts opened in Maldives during the first quarter of the year.
