Two individuals have been appointed as state ministers at two ministries.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih appointed Aishath Athiya Naseer as a State Minister at the Education Ministry while Zifleena Hassan was appointed as a State Minister at Gender Ministry.
Athiya Naseer completed her Master’s degree from the University of Nottingham in Education and previously served as the Chief Administrator of ADK Hospital.
Zilfeena Hassan is presently a doctoral candidate and attained her Master's and Bachelor’s Degrees in Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia and the University of Abertay Dundee, respectively.
