Maldives Association of Persons with Disabilities (MAPD) is preparing to showcase the talents of people with disabilities at the upcoming 'Fannu Expo'.
MAPD Chairperson Ahmed Mohamed stated that talents of the members of the organisation will be displayed in the exhibition.
"The participants are putting in a lot of effort and preparing well for the expo. We hope to see many talents and creative work in the expo", Ahmed said.
Ahmed added that the association's members include those skilled in dress making and other useful skills.
"We have participated in previous exhibitions as well and we are hoping to show off more creative talents in this year's fair", said Ahmed.
Fannu Expo is a platform where different people throughout Maldives gather to show off their creativity and artistic talent in various forms. A special category has been included for special needs people in the exhibition.
The application deadline to participate in the expo is 30th September 2019. With 77 different participation categories, the exhibition is a great opportunity for small and medium businesses to promote their businesses.
The expo is scheduled to be held at Dharubaaruge from 22nd to 28th November 2019.
