Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) are searching for a woman after a speed boat capsizes.
MNDF said they received reports of the incident at 12.25 pm on Thursday.
The speedboat carrying ten passengers was traveling from HDh. Nolhivaranfaru to HDh. Hanimaadhoo, said MNDF. While 7 people have been rescued and taken to Hanimaadhoo, a second woman and child who were missing have been located by the police.
Search efforts are currently ongoing to locate the remaining passenger, confirmed MNDF.
