The Parliament is seeking public opinion on the 36 names nominated by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih for Maldives Broadcasting Commission (Broadcom) membership.
Broadcom is appointing two members to the commission following the resignation of commission members Ismail Sofwan and Hassan Nabah last May. Both members resigned amidst investigation of individual commission members by the parliament.
The parliament has requested the public to submit any complaints regarding the proposed names to the Parliament Secretariat by 18th September. Complaints can also be submitted via email.
