Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has revealed that the two-year old who fell into a pond in L. Gan remains in serious condition.
Ismail Ahmed from IGMH media unit stated that the child's condition has not improved and is being treated in the ICU with the help of a ventilator.
The two year old fell into the deep pond in his home in Laam Gan island on Saturday afternoon. The boy was rushed to the regional hospital in the island. The boy's condition deteriorated on Saturday evening and therefore was brought to Male' on Saturday night.
