Submission of application for main-ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP)'s internal election will come to a close next Monday.
An announcement made by MDP said the application deadline for vacant posts within the party has been extended until 30th September due to a large number of requests from party members.
MDP stated that despite the extension, only members who submitted their party membership by September 26th can apply for the posts, as per the previous announcement.
Appointments will be made for 104 vacant positions in 45 constituencies during the party's internal election slated for 18th October. This includes five constituency presidents, seven vice presidents, 27 secretaries, and 29 vice secretaries. 36 public notice secretaries will also be appointed.
