Over 850 vehicles have been fined for parking violations in the last week.
Police statistics show that a total of 852 parking tickers were issued during the last week while 130 vehicles were towed.
According to the statistics report released by MPS on Sunday, 44 accidents occurred between October 12 and 18, and 16 people sustained injuries in the accidents.
While 852 vehicles were inspected during the period, action was taken against 113 people for driving without a licence, and 49 vehicles for expired road worthiness, and 28 vehicles for unpaid annual fee.
