763 vehicles were fined for parking violations during the last week.
Police statistics show that 763 vehicles were issued parking tickets for violations, and 48 vehicles were towed last week.
According to the statistics report released by MPS on Sunday, 41 accidents occurred in Male' city between October 19 and 25, and 11 people sustained injuries in the accidents.
While 819 vehicles were inspected during the period, action was taken against 20 people for reckless driving, 35 vehicles for expired road worthiness, and 23 vehicles for unpaid annual fees.
