A man who jumped off a dinghy boat on Friday has been found dead.
Police said the man jumped off the dinghy for fun near the Gulhifalhu beacon light while traveling from Male' to industrial island Thilafushi with ten other people.
33-year old Ahmed Anees was reported as missing around 1516 hrs on Friday. A search was immediately commenced and his body was discovered by MNDF Coastguard divers 44 meters below surface one hour into the search.
The police are investigating the case further.
