A new Permanent Secretary (PS) was appointed to Islamic Ministry on Monday.
Former Director of the ministry's Finance section, Abdulla Haseeb was appointed for the post at a special ceremony held Monday at the Islamic Ministry.
The letter of appointment was handed over to Haseeb by President of the Civil Service Commission Ali Shaheem. Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Zahir was present at the ceremony.
The newly appointed PS holds a Masters degree in Business Administration. Haseeb has previously worked as the Assistant Accounts Officer at Maldives of Higher Education and also worked as Budget Sections Assistant Director at the Criminal Court.
A new Permanent Secretary was appointed to the ministry after former PS Mus'ab Abdulla was dismissed following investigation by the Civil Service Commission.
