Maldives has once again bagged the World Leading Beach Destination award at the World Travel Awards.
The award was presented at the 26th annual World Travel Awards held on November 28 at Muscat, Oman. The award was received by Maldivian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, Mohamed Khaleel.
Maldives previously won the award in 2015 and 2016. The Maldives contended against countries such as Mexico, the Philippines, Thailand, Greece and Papua New Guinea to win the award.
