Condition of electrocuted technician is improving - FENAKA

FENAKA has revealed that the condition of its employee who was electrocuted in Ga. Villingili on Sunday is improving.

FENAKA technician from Ga. Villingili branch, Mohamed Mufeed was brought to capital Male' for treatment after he was electrocuted while working on the water and sewerage component of the housing unit site at the island.

The utility company said they are closely monitoring his condition, and that state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has revealed that his condition is improving. Mufeed was transferred to IGMH early Monday morning.

A similar incident occurred in the island in 2016 when an employee of FENAKA passed away after being electrocuted.
