An elderly person’s leg is broken in a road accident in Addu City, Hithadhoo.
The police said a 64-year-old man got injured in an accident that occurred in Hithadhoo Ghaazee Magu (road). The police further said that the man’s leg is broken and his temple is injured and that he is being treated at the hospital.
As per the information provided by the police, the accident occurred while the man was trying to turn his motorbike from the south to north of Ghaazee Magu and colliding with another motorbike that came from the other end. The two motorbikes are also affected by the accident.
The other motorbike was driven by a 25-year-old man who does not have the license to drive land vehicles, said the police. The police is investigating the matter.
