The Minister of Transport Aistath Nahula revealed that it had been decided, to obtain vehicle licence an additional training has to be undergone.
In an interview given to a programme of VTV, Minister Nahula said that there are many programmes planned for this year and one such programme is that the government has decided on including additional training in the current licence issue programme. Nahula said that the training would be conducted by the Police or any other party that the Ministry assigns the task.
“This will make them think of safety and security more. The purpose of the training is especially to lessen the accidents that are occurring and make people more aware of such issues through the transport system. I believe that this will be an excellent programme.” Said the Minister.
Currently, the licence is issued upon passing a particular theory and a practical test conducted by Ministry of Transport.
