A man has been lost at sea after the 'dhoni' he was traveling in grounded on a reef.
Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) said the boat carrying goods with three people aboard the vessel was stranded on the reef of K. Kagi around 8 am on Monday, and the Maldivian captain of the vessel went missing in the incident. The remaining crew of the vessel are both expatriates.
While MNDF is searching for the missing man, his phone and bag are on the vessel.
