A fisherman dies in Sh. Funadhoo in an accident that occurred while fishing. He died when a fishing line coiled on his neck the moment he fell onto the water while a fish got caught on his fishing hook.
The Police said that in this afternoon (Tuesday) a man who went for fishing in a dingy boat died when a fishing-line coiled on his neck the moment he fell when a fish got caught on his hook.
The man is a 59-year-old Maldivian man. He was said to be dead prior to taken to the hospital.
The Police said that he went for fishing alone and was found on the water by a Dhoni that passed by and that they are investigating the case.
