The Ministry of Economic Development has commenced the re-registration programme of illegal expatriates in Addu and Kulhudhuffushi city.
The Ministry stated that they commenced the programme on the 17th of January and several expatriates from both the cites have participated in the re-registration programme to legalize the illegal immigrants.
The Ministry said that the programme will be continued in Fuvahmulah on next Saturday.
The programme to legalize the illegal immigrants was launched in Male’ and 20,000 expatriates registered in Male'.
