Maldives Coast Guard has assisted the Sri Lankan fishing boat found drifting in Maldivian waters and guided the boat to Hulhumale' Harbour.
Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) said the boat and all six people aboard the vessel arrived at the Hulhumale' harbour around 0600 hrs on Tuesday. The people aboard the vessel are in good health.
The boat was found drifting off Dhiffushi island on January 26 after its engine failed. MNDF had earlier said they received reports of the drifting boat on January 23.
