A new bus route has been established in capital Male' near the carnival area where the ferry terminal to Hulhumale’ is located.
Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), the state-owned company that manages ports of the Maldives also operates buses between Male’ , Hulhumale and airport island Hulhule'. MPL said the new bus routes were established to enhance the transportation services being provided by the company. The new route that was opened on Tuesday has two stops in Male’ and two stops in Hulhumale'.
The buses will stop near carnival area and near the volley court on the outer ring road of Henveiru ward of Male' and the Hulhumale' stops for the route near Red Wave shop and Centro Mall.
