Health Protection Authority (HPA) confirmed that a foreigner at Kuramathi Resort suspected of having symptoms of COVID-19 had been quarantined for testing and the resort is on a temporary lockdown.
Six people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives. They are two expatriate employees of Kuredu Resort and two Italian tourists at the same resort and two tourists in Sandies Bathala Island Resort.
