Tourism Minister Ali Waheed has joined the Global Tourism Crisis Committee convened by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
The Tourism Ministry said the government has been informed by UNWTO that Minister Waheed has been included as part of the Global Tourism Crisis Committee.
Global Tourism Crisis Committee was convened by UNWTO on March 19, 2020 during a high-level virtual meeting that brought together key UN agencies, the chairs of its Executive Council and Regional Commissions, and private sector leaders.
