A social media campaign “Miyaheli” carried out jointly by the telecommunication service provider Ooredoo Maldives and UNDP has concluded.
The campaign was carried out for three days for the purpose of providing solutions for the various social issues through youth with the use of digital and other mediums.
This year’s campaign was focused on overcoming the challenges faced by the Maldives due to COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 70 participants submitted suggestions in 11 proposals. Five of the best proposals were selected by a judging panel.
Ooredoo Maldives is a private multinational company that provides telecommunication services in the Maldives. The company has been contributing to the development of the Maldives under its numerous CSR programmes.
